Expert SMTP Setup for Outlook Express - Hybrid User

Open Outlook Express

Click "Tools" Then "Accounts"

Click on the "All" or "Mail" tab

Select your mail account that you use through CTS

Click the "Properties" button

Click the "Servers" tab

In the "Incoming mail (POP3):" field enter mail.yourdomain.com

In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP):" field enter smtp.ctsmail.net

In the "Account name:" field enter youraccountname@yourdomain.com (ex. john@company.com)

Enter your password for that email account in the "Password:" field

Make sure to check the "My server requires authentication" box then click "Settings"

Click the "Log on using" button

Enter your CTSMAIL account name (youraccountname@ctsmail.net)

Enter your password for your CTSMAIL account

Click "OK"

NOTE: You will use this same account name on each computer you set up this way

Click on the "Connection" tab

Check "Always connect to this account using:" box

Set this to "Local Area Network"

Click "Apply"

Click OK
