Expert Setup for Outlook Express - Hosted Domain User


Open Outlook Express

Click "Tools" Then "Accounts"

 

Click on the "Mail" tab

Select your ctsmail account

Click the "Properties" button

 

Click the "Servers" tab

In the "Incoming mail (POP3):" field enter mail.yourdomain.com

In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP):" field enter smtp.(put your domain name here)

In the "Account name:" field enter your email address@(put your domain name here)

Enter your password for that email account in the "Password:" field

Make sure to check the "My server requires authentication" then click "Settings"

 

Make sure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected

Click OK

Click on the "Connection" tab

Check "Always connect to this account using:" box

Set this to "Local Area Network"

Click "Apply"

Click OK
