New Setup for Outlook Express - Standard CTSMAIL User


Open Outlook Express

If the Internet Connection Wizard does not automatically open

Click "Tools" Then "Accounts"

If the wizard does open skip ahead in these instructions to the appropriate steps

 

 

Click the "Add"button, then click "Mail..." in the side box that opens.

 

Enter your name in the name field then click "Next"

 

Enter your CTSMAIL Email address in the field then click "Next"

 

Enter "mail.ctsmail.net" in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: feild

Enter"smtp.ctsmail.net" in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field, then click "Next"

 

Enter your CTSMAIL Email address (be sure to include @ctsmail.net) in the Account name: field

Enter your password in the Password: field, then click "Next", then "Finish" on the screen that opens

If you do not know your password, call customer service at 269-746-4411

 

Click on "Tools" then "Accounts" again

 

Click on the "All" or "Mail" tab

Select your mail.ctsmail.net account then click "Properties"

 

Click on the "Servers" tab

Check the "My server requires authentication" box at the bottom

Click "OK" then click "Close" on the bottom of the existing window
