In the users control panel for an email address it is possible to redirect  address to another email address and there are two different methods you may wish to accomplish the redirect.

Method #1: Redirect with out having messages stored in the mail box.

This is where you redirect the messages to another email address but the messages are not stored in the orginal mail box.

When and When NOT to Use:

When to Use:

Use this method when you have an employee leave the company and you want their messages to flow to another mail box with out having to ever check or delete messages from the old account.

Use this method when you are going on vacation and you want another person to get your email and you don’t want manage the messages while you’re away.

When NOT to Use:

You can not use this method of redirecting the account if you wish to use this account to send email, once the account mail box is disabled you can not use webmail or any mail client to log into the account, thus you will not get authenticated for mail sending on the server.  You can login to your control panel (not webmail) to reset the account back if you need to.
