Standard DSL Setup for MAC/APPLE

 

 

1.  Click on the Apple icon and choose Control Panel.                                                 

                                                                                               

2.  Choose TCP/IP from the submenu.                                                                         

                                                                                               

3.  Connect via: Ethernet built-in                                                                                               

                                                                                               

4.  Configure: manually                                                                                     

                                                                                               

5.  Enter IP Address:  192.168.1.2 ß Last digit can be any number from 2-254                      

(Note: When connecting multiple computers, each must have a unique last number.)                  

6.  Enter Subnet Address:  255.255.255.0                   

                       

7.  Enter Router Address:  192.168.1.1                       

                       

8.  Enter Name Server Address: 64.136.224.18 and 64.136.224.19                    

                       

9.  Enter Search domains:  Climax                    

                       

10.  Goto FILE, Choose QUIT.                      

                       

11.  Choose SAVE.                

 

 

• Standard mode means the CTS router performs NAT (Network Address Translation) firewall functions.
• CTS recommends customers have antivirus software and adware/spyware removal software running on all host machines.
